hi,
I want to centrally manage the sidebar layout of 40+ spaces in our Confluence 6.4 on-prem install.
2 things need done:
1/ turn off all the default links except Blogs, +
2/ add some code in the Sidebar Customizer:
{livesearch:spaceKey=@self|size=small|placeholder=Search this space}
{pagetree:root=@none|startDepth=2}
If I can manage to create a link to "this space's blog posts", just like the "blogs" button, in markdown in the sidebar customizer, that's fine, too.
how can I proceed?
when copying spaces, sidebar design't isn't copied with it ....
I've looked around in the DB as well but can't seem to find what I'm looking for.
thx,
Quentin
Hi Quentin,
We have a feature request to be able to configure the sidebar layout globally:
You can vote on the issue in order to show how popular such a feature would be. Please feel free to comment on it with your use case to ensure the best implementation of the feature should we choose to include it.
Lastly, you can watch the issue if you want to get any updates of progress.
Let us know if you have any questions.
Kind Regards,
Shannon
