can you save data from html macro?

I have created a html macro. I can put html code inside a box and then I can see the result but I want to save data into variables confluence because when I click on save and create a new template and put my data into html macro then those data doesn't save.

Hello Martin,

I believe you could try to use Active Objects to store your data into it. You could either use the Custom Macro you've created or try developing a plugin with our SDK:
