can we add a table as a part of the template in COnfluence

hi,

Confluence 5.10 server user.

can i add a table in apage template and have it show based on user input.

if uiser doesnt use the table then it should show only the text on the page and not the tablle.

is it possible ?

What I suggest. in your template put your table in an expand or info macro. If a user does not need a table it is just one click to remove it.

I think this not too much to ask...

Possibly, you can apply some filters to the table using Table Filter macro.

Can you give more details on "user input" and "table"?

Hi Shilpini,

no, I don't know of any conditional parts of a Confluence page template.

If the user leaves the table empty, it is still there.
