You can 'watch' a Confluence space. Confluence will then send you a notification email whenever anyone updates the space. check https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/watch-pages-spaces-and-blogs-139579.html

Watching a space will send notifications for every change which at times is little irritating. Can I get a digest or daily notifications for changes made in a space?

You can get a daily updates email but it is for all spaces that you have permission to view.  It is on your Profile under Settings.  Select Email and then Subscribe to Daily Updates.
