How to calculate the values in the template using macro?(for example: adding two numbers inside the template by the macro)

IF this is in a user macro, thats tricky. If you're using a custom macro, you could either to the maths in the java code and then pass it though, or add MathUtils to the velocity context and then do something like:

$mathUtils.addAndCheck($x, $y)
