applinking: one jira vs TWO confluences?

Hi,

We are wondering about splitting our confluence instance into 2 separate instances. There are some practical and economical reasons because the target audience, license sizes and the plugin set of each instance would be very different ...

Is anyone using this in productive env?

App linking will work fine in these conditions? (c1 -> jira <- c2 )

Thanks!

There should be no problem making them link together.
