admin question

Sergey Vetrov March 3, 2014

Hi, I have Confulence 5.3 and how can I hide a "like" button, cooments and admin changes information in my space? I want to have a clear page with my tree information for users.

Thank you,

Zakhar

Hi Zahar,

Like button is a plugin in Confluence, So for disable it you can follow the below instructions:

  1. Go to Confluence Admin (by clicking on Conf icon)
  2. Select Manage add-ons
  3. Choose System from the drop down menu
  4. Look for Confluence Like Plugin
  5. Expand it and click on Disable

To answer your question about disabling comments, I'm suggesting you to visit Commenting on pages and blog posts Documentation.

Let me know if you have any question.

Cheers,

Saleh

As for disabling comments and admin changes, that can be done by modifying the decorators or using CSS to hide them. Search for each of those tasks separately on this site and you'll find your answers.
