Hello, We attempted to import a MS 2011 (MAC) .docx document as a page into Confluence. The content did import but the numbered lists were not maintained. All the lists and sublists were reverted back to 1. Any ideas why....thanks
Hello James, that is actually how Confluence currently handles the importation of lists, this concern has been brough to our attention earlier through this ticket and turned out to how the application handles lists.
In case you would like, the lettered list could be filled as an improvement request for the application under jira.atlassian.com.
Hello Gullherme - the conversion of #'s to letters is a concern - but our real concern was that in our case the list and step of actions are itemed 1-7 in the original word doc. After importing - each of the 7 items in the list where all now 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 and not a numbered list. Making the importing of Word docs - useless since it would require major rework in Confluence after the Import. Is this a normal feature - I did not bring up the alpabet's issue.
