Will there be a new version of Confluence Wiki Converter that will be compatible with Confluence version 5.6.6?

I would like to transfer some information across from our wikis but it seems that this converter is only compatible with versions of Confluence up to 4.3.7. Will you be releasing a newer version any time soon?

Unfortunately no. Confluence 4.3.7 is the latest and last version to be supported by the UWC. That leaves you with two options, as I see it:

Option 1

  1. Use the UWC to migrate content to a fresh install of Confluence 4.3.7.
  2. Upgrade that instance to 5.6.6
  3. Copy spaces over to your other 5.6.6 instance as necessary

Option 2

  • Employ an expert partner to aid in the migration

I hope this helps!

Cheers,

Brian
