Wiki Markup Code

MPal Pal October 11, 2012

Hi All,

Is there a way to change the wiki markup code of all pages in a space at once?

Like when I want to replace "Space ID" appearing in the links of all pages with "Space ID 2".

Thanks

How to automate adding text to Confluence pages - specifically the findReplace section. In your case, use the runFromPageList alternative.

Hi there,

I think the easiest way to do this, (assuming that you only want to change certain keywords across the Space), is to export the Space to XML from the Space Admin, edit the text of the entities.xml file in a text editor using "Find+Replace" and then re-import the Space back into the instance.

However, you should first try re-importing the edited Space into a test instance to make sure that the changes have been made successfully and there are no problems before you re-import that Space into your production instance.

All the best,
John
