Why was "Site Spaces" removed from the Space Directory? Anyone else seeing this?

Tina Hutchinson November 30, 2020

I was astonished to see this morning that the Confluence Cloud Space Directory, accessed by clicking "View all" from Home or "View all spaces" under Spaces, has eliminated "Site Spaces" from the options! We depend on that to have a fast way for all our employees to see all company spaces, without the personal spaces mixed in. Surely this is a bug. Is anyone else seeing this?  Why would Atlassian intentionally do something so illogical?

Hi Tina - thank you for your sharing how you use the Space Directory, we appreciate your feedback. This particular filter was not part of our initial release of the refreshed design of the Space Directory, but we will be updating it in the next few weeks.

Thank you for replying, DJ.  I hope this means your update within the next few weeks will include restoring the Site Spaces link, so we can see them with one click without have to add categories and filter?  In fact, we should be able to go directly to the Space Directory Site Spaces, without any additional clicks, just as we could before.  This is so disappointing. It feels as if Atlassian is always removing necessary features.
