Why searching for labels so complicated?

Why it is not possible to search for labels in a standard way: mark labels as content type..type in your search term..send it..ready

"labelText: sample" works in the search field. Be sure that you capitalize "labelText" exactly that way, but the capitalization is ignored in the actual label name: sample, SAMPLE, and Sample will all return all the pages with that label regardless of capitalization.

Hi Axel,

Did you have a look into these documentations? There are a few examples about searching for labels:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/confluence-search-fields-161188.html

and

Hope this helps.

Actually, there will be an easy way to search for labels in the new Confluence 5.9.  There will be a little section called "Add Filter" towards the bottom part of the search, and you will be able to choose "Labels", and then simply type the labels you want to search for.  The reason that you don't choose it in content type is so that you can still filter by content type (since you can attach labels to pages, attachments, blog posts, spaces, etc.).
