Why isn't the Favicon file used in the browser tab?

Barbara Green November 28, 2011

I'm evaluating On Demand and trying to get a sample space set up so that I can review it with my group. I chose a regular corporate logo file for use in the banner. I chose a 16 px icon for use as the Favicon file.

In the system dashboard the Favicon file is used in the browser window tab. But if I go into a Confluence project, the global icon is used in the browser tab. It's unreadable, because it's sized for the banner and uses white text (for contrast with the dark blue banner).

Why isn't Favicon used for the browser tab everywhere?

Barbara

Hi, there. Looks like you are encountering a known bug in Confluence OnDemand - https://studio.atlassian.com/browse/JST-5735. You might want to add a watch on that bug report for keeping up-to-date with the progress.
