Does anyone know the reason while reading a confluence document the page will randomly jump to another part of the page? It is crazy to me that I have to continue scrolling back to what was being read before.
@rzw3ch Facing the same issue here. It is annoying and gets worse the longer my article gets. Checking a few answers here and in other threads gave me the idea to delete the table of content that I put on the very top of my article.
This solved the issue. Seems like while typing confluence is trying to be helpful and updating the TOC, as a result making editing a different kind of annoying.
As a workaround, for now, I am going to delete the TOC when I need to edit an existing article and add it back in before I save

@rzw3ch I noticed this last week when editing a few pages in Confluence Cloud. I would scroll down on the page, and it would then jump back to the top before I could place my cursor where I wanted to write. I had not experienced this before (have been writing steadily in Confluence for more than 3 months), so I just thought it was to do with the issues Atlassian was experiencing last week.
Since I'm on Cloud and you're on Server, I don't know if we're seeing the same thing. If we are, it is probably not due to the issues, since I believe they were only related to Cloud.
I will pay attention to see if this happens today and try to note any circumstances when it occurs.

Have you clicked on hyperlinks by any chance? what version of Confluence you are using? Is this issue reproducible by other users in your organization?

Haven't clicked on many links, but I have a fair few Jira tickets linked to the page.
Confluence Version:
Yes, this seems to be a common behavior people experience

@rzw3ch is the issue reproducible with different browsers? or it is specific to a certain browser?
