Why does my page URL contain viewpage.action

Most of my pages have a URL with mysite.com/help/name+of+page where the name of the page is echoed in the URL. I have one page that uses a viewpage.action URL instead. Why? Is there any way to override that?

It's because there are "special characters" such as an apostrophe or a colon in the title of the page. The only workaround is to rename the page.
