Why do Jira macros in confluence do not load w/out a refresh in Confluence when used inside macros

We have observed that some JIRA integration macros do not load without a refresh in confluence when used inside the “SP horizontal / vertical nav item” macros but they load fine when directly used on a page.

JIRA Macros that have problems:

-Two Dimensional Filter Statistics

- Sprint Burndown Gadget

- Sprint Health Gadget

Hi Matt,

Thank you for bringing this up. I'm not really familiar with the "SP horizontal / vertical nav item" macros that you're referring to. What do they do exactly and is this functionality provided by an add-on from a vendor on Atlassian Marketplace?  For example: There are a few add-ons that come up when I search 'vertical nav'. 

If that's the case, then I would recommend contacting the vendor of the add-on directly, and let them know your Confluence and add-on versions, and they can tell you if it's a known bug or if there's a fix for it.
