We're connected to LDAP, and LDAP groups are being imported. However, as far as I can tell, group members aren't being imported -- all of the LDAP groups show as empty within Confluence.

Is there some setting controlling this?

Hello Jonathan,

This would depend on the connection you have set, assuming you have chosen something different from "LDAP with Internal Groups" then you are using connector. Meaning that something went wrong during your synchronization. I would try to search the logs for this: "duplicate key:", and if you find something then you have this problem:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFKB/Directory+Synchronization+Failure+Due+to+Default+Group+Caused+Duplicate+Entry

If you don't have this problem, double check your group membership and user membership such as "uniqueMember" and "member".

Cheers,

Guilherme
