Where do you send & how do you craft an index schema for a content property?

Hi!

Hope things are well! I'm trying to search a space with the REST API with CQL.  I need to query by content property value, but I can't figure out the schema format for storing a content property in order to allow this CQL query.

Any help would be unreal!! Thanks a ton.
