Looking for tips on email management/notifications. What suggestions do you have for tracking items you are tagged in/need action versus someone just making a page publish. We have confluence emails filtering into a specific folder in Outlook with a rule, but since we receive so many notifications, we may miss items that need attention. We do not want to turn off the auto watch feature.
Any ideas to better manage notifications?
Hello @Rebecca Michelau !
I hope everything is fine and Confluence is sending notifications as expected.
A good strategy to keep track of updates to specific pages in your email would be to create filters based on the page title that comes with the notification email.
One thing to keep in mind is that Confluence will only send a notification regarding a mention the first time that you are mentioned in a page. Subsequent mentions on that page will not trigger notifications.
If you need to keep track of notifications about page edits for specific users, you might want to filter your email by content and then make sure that the user name is included in that filter.
All of that filter management is out of scope of what Confluence does. But our documentation might be of help if you need to fine tune when and why Confluence sends out notifications:
