This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Installing Confluence Data Center

Section 2.3 of the article above tells us to configure 3 ports, then to set the "load balancer URL". The 3 ports are:

  • -Dsynchrony.port
  • -Dcluster.listen.port
  • -Dsynchrony.cluster.base.port

I'm not using a load balancer (This it a QA set up). What values should I use for:

  • -Dsynchrony.service.url=http://confluence.local:<YOUR_LOAD_BALANCER_PORT>
  • Confluence's -Dsynchrony.service.url

Thank you!

Answer: the synchrony.port, and it's preferably 8091.

-Dsynchrony.port=8091

-Dsynchrony.service.url=http://confluence.local:8091
