What if my space size(s) are too large to migrate?

Steven Albert November 23, 2016

The maximum back-up file size that can be uploaded to migrate from server to cloud hosting is 200 megabytes. The migration documentation says that, when a back-up is larger than 200 megabytes, you should export spaces and upload them individually along with user data. What if a backed-up space is larger than 200 megabytes?

Hi Steven,

This is probably a question that only Atlassian can answer, as they run the Cloud hosting.  However, if the space isn't much bigger than 200mb then the simple way would be to download the biggest attachments, delete them from the space and then re-upload them once you've migrated.
