What does the term "other" cover in Indexing Language cover?

On  the "General Configuration page in Confluence.

It is possible to make changes in the "Formatting and International Settings"

I can edit "Indexing Language"  UTF-8

I can choose from a variety of languages, including "other". I can not find description of what this covers and how the search index reacts to this setting. It is clear that the chosen language is English, the index ring choose English terms and words, my language "Danish" is not represented and can not be purchased as a language pack. What impact does this have on my search index and my search resultarer if I choose "other"?

Hi Morten,

I don't know what the impact of "Other" will be, but that doesn't matter if you can get a Danish language pack....and you can smile

The Installing a Language Pack page explains how to add the pack, and it includes a link to the user generated language packs, of which Danish is one.

Jeg håber, der hjælper. Held og lykke
