There are many dozens (hundreds?) of files in the confluence/temp directory several of which are months old that are all called something like embedded6733342028415366778jar (embedded<some string="" of="" digits="">jar). What are these files and can I delete them?
They are safe to delete - they're intermediate files created by Confluence when it installs plugins.
hi..is this normal for these plugin_*.jar files to remain in temp directory? I see there are multiple jar files being left over in our dev servers.
Example:
# ls plugin_*.jar | sort
plugin_5593504269766178159_custom_feedback_plugin-1.0.12.jar
plugin_6380871464886366613_custom_feedback_plugin-1.0.12.jar
plugin_6488807009346368027_custom_feedback_plugin-1.0.12.jar
plugin_7930232697863073474_custom_feedback_plugin-1.0.13.jar
plugin_9103477254672793494_custom_feedback_plugin-1.0.12.jar
What can cause these files to remain without being cleanedup?
