We are migrating confluence but the license is not accepted

Youri Hart August 14, 2013

We have setup a new server with Ubuntu 13.04 and installed confluence (via the migration manual, which includes zipping the installation and home directories), however when we copy the license from the atlassian system it says it is not accepted. We did change our server ID but still the license is NOT accepted. Please advise.

Hi Youri,

There's two reasons that this could happened, one of them is that the {{confluence-init.properties}} isn't set correctly or, If you have invalid permissions on your <CONFLUENCE-HOME> directory or on the <CONFLUENCE-HOME>/confluence.cfg.xml file in particular the same error may appear.

I hope this helps.
Cheers,
WZ
