Users aren't redirected to default Site Homepage

Dao Starita May 27, 2020

We have a setup to allow unlicensed users to login to our server Confluence and access a Confluence Space.

How can I set it up so that users will always land onto the default page of a space? In this case https://confluence.website.com/display/SPACE/Home.

Noted that I have already changed the Site Homepage in Confluence Administration - Further Configuration to be the above "Space" space.

@Dao Starita

In terms of logic, it cannot be otherwise.
A call to the subdomain must lead to registration (registration with sso is a little different), because how does confluence want to distinguish otherwise personalized users from anonymous users.

Spaces that are released for anonymous users do not require a user check.

Users are required to login to access the Space and its pages so there are no anonymous users.

I need all users after login landing onto or seeing the https://confluence.website.com/display/SPACE/Home page. For licensed users, they see the Home page even when they log in from https://confluence.website.com. However, for unlicensed users, they get "You are not permitted to perform this operation." message when they log in from https://confluence.website.com.

I already set this "Space" to be the default space and "Home" to be the default home page/landing page.

Hence, I don't understand from Confluence perspective why unlicensed users could not see the Space's Home page.
