User name completion shows prior user name

When I set-up our instance I created a user account with the first name Mike. Subsequently when I learned that this user likes to go by the name Michael I updated his account to reflect this. However now whenever confluence prompts me for a user name it expects me to start with 'Mik...' and displays the auto-complete as 'Mike ...' however this isn't the name that is registered in the system. How can I correct this in the OnDemand Confluence instance I'm using?

Hey there,

From my understanding this problem is related with Confluence's index. Basically it didn't update the index properly.

Since you're running OnDemand, I would suggest you raise a support ticket in our Support Channel that way our team can do a rebuild of content index from scratch, which should fix this glitch.
