How can we give users global permissions in Confluence for different spaces, without putting permissions on each space/page ?

using general settings / configuration

Hi @Rashid Owais

  1.  Cog icon --> General Configuration
  2. Choose Global Permissions
  3. The 'view Global permission screen will appear

You'll be able to edit permissions for a user or a group. Atlassian does recommend you to add the user to a group instead of giving permissions to a specific user.

You can see what each permission means here along with how to add here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/global-permissions-overview-138709.html

In case this answers your question, would appreciate you to accept my answer :)

Let me know how you go.

Cheers

Poorvi
