Upgrading Confluence after maintanance period?

Michał Szymański February 20, 2015

Hi,

We have following situation. We have bought Confluence 1st of January 2014 and our maitenance support ended 1st of January 2015, during this period we have not done any upagrade. My question, is it possible to upgrade Confluence right now, using version that was released in December 2014 (this version was released before our maitenance period was finished).

Hello Michal,

you are indeed entitled to upgrade to every version that was released within your timeframe of maintenance (so until December 31st 2014).
However, you should be aware of the risk you are taking when upgrading to a new version without being entitled to request official Atlassian support.

Hey,

Also, you can create a trial license going through your https://my.atlassian.com there is no cost on that, and it's valid for support and upgrade.

Cheers,
