Upgrade Path from Confluence 2.10 to 5.2

What is the correct upgrade path from Confluence 2.10.2 to 5.2.5?

Is it 2.10.2 > 3.5.13 > 5.2.5?

i'd say you should not skip major versions... I'd fit 4.x in the chain
