Frode Haugland September 10, 2012

Having some issues with some plugins and would like to try updating Java to the latest version. Use defaults in Java settings in Tomcat renders the confluence service unable to start.

Hey Frode ,

I have done something similar for Jira ,

You will need to edit the setenv.sh file and insert on the first line

export JAVA_HOME=/path/for/your/jdk

if you are using windows server then edit setenv.bat .

Please try the above in your test environment and restart Confluence for the changes to take effect
