Unable to use PowerPoint Macro; how do I resolve this?

I have a confluence page which I want to embed the powerpoint macro into. I have already uploaded the powerpoint into that page, and then selected the macro.

When it gets to the "Edit PowerPoint Macro" screen, I'm able to point it to the correct powerpoint file and Confluence page, set the dimensions, but then nothing happens after I hit "save". 

The screen just hangs and doesn't change. I eventually have to hit cancel which takes me back to my Confluence page, but without the installed macro.

How do I resolve this?

How large is the PowerPoint file?  Have you tried a different PowerPoint file to see if the results are the same?

It's not a big presentation at all with aI think at most 6 slides. The file size is 177KB. 

I can try it with different presentation.
