Unable to export confluence wiki space.

Hello Team,

I tried exporting my confluence wiki space in .xml format however closed the window as changed my mind. Now it does not allow me to export and gives me an error 'Already running this task'.

The problem here is, it's been 2 days and neither I am seeing anything being exported nor I am able to start a new export.

Kindly suggest.

Are you on Confluence Cloud or Server?

If you're on Cloud you should contact Atlassian Support.

If you're on server:

Do you see the .xml file in Confluence's home directory? <confluence-home>/temp
In case you see the file check whether the size is still increasing. In that case the export is still ongoing.

But I'm afraid there is no way to stop an ongoing export. You will have to restart the Confluence server.
