I would like to migrate our confluence space to cloud and during the migration, I got this message: An unexpected error occurred during step: Migrating users and groups. Error: Couldn't retrieve entities to build v2 request
Confluence Server is up to date 7.19.1 and full licensed
The Cloud tenant is licensed as well
All prerequisites and pre-check were passed.
Any idea?
Hi @Julian Ziegler ,
because you are on the cloud, you need to raise a support request to https://support.atlassian.com/contact/
Atlassian team should be able to read log files in order to figure out your issue.
Hope this helps,
Fabio
Hi everyone,
the Atlassian Cloud support (https://support.atlassian.com/contact/) and I located the issue in our firewall rules. We are using NextGen FW with package deep inspection (https) and this seems to be the cause. After I disabled the security profiles from inside to outside the migration was successfull.
Hopefully this will help...
Kind regards
Julian

Same here. Turn off IPS, App-Control at the fw-rules and SSL/TLS inspection and all works fine!

@Julian Ziegler @amhasan , Any success? We are running into the same issue today. Strangely all the earlier migration worked in the same 2 confluence instance involved here.

Hi Julian.
Were you able to resolve this issue?
We are hitting same issues today.
