Toggle section numbers in confluence document to match PDF output

Jason Border December 3, 2014

Hi Guys,

I'm wondering if there is a way to display the section ID's that are generated and displayed in the PDF outputs of a confluence document. Id like to be able to reference the ID for developers that use a printed spec and those happy to work on the screen version.

I know I can add section numbers to a TOC which is a start but would love to be able to be heading specific.

Thanks in advance

Jason

Hi Steven,

Thanks for answering my question. After re-reading it I've realised i wasn't entirely clear.

Happy with current PDF output with section numbers but I would like a way of seeing those section numbers when viewing through confluence in my browser. Is that possible?

Thanks again

Jason

Some of the "Scroll" products (like so:https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.k15t.scroll.scroll-pdf) might be beneficial for you, otherwise you can try to dig in to some custom work here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Customising+Exports+to+PDF
