We want to prevent that space administrators permanently change the color scheme of their space.

Is it enough in the bandana table to set the values ​​for the fields to the global value, eg

UPDATE bandana set bandanavalue = (select bandanavalue from bandana where bandanakey = 'atlassian.confluence.colour.scheme' and bandanacontext like '%GLOBAL%') WHERE bandanakey = 'atlassian.confluence.colour.scheme' and bandanacontext <> '%GLOBAL% ';

It might work. I've done some manual manipulation of the color schemes but there are instances where it takes, and seems like others where it doesn't. I've also logged a feature request for this here for others who might come seeking the same information:
