The global default theme on our confluence site (http://arrkgroup.atlassian.net/wiki) got changed this morning.

Team,

The global default theme on our confluence site (http://arrkgroup.atlassian.net/wiki) got changed this morning.

We no longer see the following:
• Menu at the top of the page with a shortcut to other spaces.
• Left hand panel with shortcut at the bottom to “Configure Space” setting.
• Page tree option on all Spaces.

The most annoying thing is non-availability of navigation link to get to the sub pages on various Spaces. We get a link (Pages) on top of the Space page which navigates to Page not found. Please take a look at this urgently and let us know what went wrong ? Also let us know if there is any way to see the log of global setting changes.

Thanks

Sandeep

Thanks for all the help Nic.

After contacting support they restarted our instance because it sounds like some of the system add-ons did not load properly after an update .

After the instance restart everything worked perfect.

It sounds like one of your admins changed the theme settings. Note that by "admin", I do mean someone on your site with admin rights - Atlassian don't change stuff like this without warning.

Hi Nic,

Thanks for the response.

How can we check who changed it, also how do we revert to the old settings.

Earlier we used to get spaces shortcut on the top left hand corner ?

No way to know who changed it really, there's little logging of administrative changes in Confluence.

To put it back, you'll need to go into the theme and undo whatever they've changed. The page tree for example, that's just a check box. It's hard to tell what they've changed though, but you don't really need to know the details, you just need to re-configure the stuff you want to put back.
