From the release notes for Confluence 5.8:

Note on version numbers: The first publicly available release for 5.8 is Confluence 5.8.2. Confluence 5.8 and 5.8.1 were internal releases.

I'm not finding the release notes for Confluence 5.8.2. Is this documentation available or is this really supposed to be Confluence 5.8.4?

Hey buddy,

Here's the Atlassian's technical writer comment:

Hi Pierre, We had some issues with our pipeline that week, and burned through a few version numbers on the way to getting 5.8 out. There are no release notes for 5.8.0, 5.8.1 and 5.8.3 because there were no issues resolved or any changes to notify.

This page contains all the information about the release Confluence 5.8 Release Notes, and the page we're on now has information on the couple of bugs that were discovered after 5.8.2 was released, and fixed immediately.

You can check it in this documentation.

Hope this will help you.

Cheers,

Yes, that's helpful. I just would've thought the upgrade notes would've been updated to reflect this rather than have to sift through comments/ask a question to find out.
