The add-on cannot be installed on this OnDemand instance

I received this message while trying to upload an .jar add-on. Not sure why can't.

Hi Cindy,

Some add-ons are only supported in downloaded instances of JIRA and Confluence (as the upload .jar feature), however Atlassian OnDemand contains a number of popular add-ons. Please read the Add-ons in OnDemand for the list of supported add-ons.

Please let us know if you have more questions.

Hi Cindy,

JAR files will only work on the standalone version of Confluence (Confluence Server).  The only type of add-ons that work with Confluence OnDemand (Confluence Cloud) are Atlassian Connect add-ons.  The only ones you will be able to add are the ones on this list.
