Team wants to have a high availability architecture, do we need the Data center version?

Jaime Murillo September 22, 2020

We are planning for the Server version installation.

but this one clearly says "Single Server Deployment",
so if we want any sort of replication or failover systems in place,

will we need to upgrade to the Data Center version?

is the infrastructure we have on the Database side limitated in anyway by the version we acquire?

Hi Jaime,

Yes, Data Center is required for self-hosted HA. Yes, database type/version are periodically added/removed from the Supported Platforms for a given version of Confluence. I recommend an LTS version of Confluence. Cheers!
