Hi All,

Whats the diffrence between Table of Content macro for 4.3 and 3.2 confluence.?

i have seen the Rendering of confluence page in 3.2 for toc macro is slightly diffrent than version 4.2.

e.g: toc is generated based on headers available in the same file. when used the include macro so its not rendering thoes headers for 3.2.

when i have included contents in current page using page include its generate the headings.

please let me know how i can work around this.

regards,

tousif shaikh

Hi,

It could be that inclusion of other pages and having their content in the TOC macro is only supported in later versions. I am not sure when this was introduced, but if you are interested, you can check the changelog of the macro here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF/component/12670#selectedTab=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.project:component-changelog-panel&allVersions=true

If the version you are using does not support this, you may want to check for updates of the corresponding plugin if there's any.

Optionally you may try the third-party TOC macro plugin: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/org.randombits.confluence.toc

Kind regards,

Peter
