Table auto-fit to page

Jessica Ledger February 11, 2014

I have a confluence page with a (3 column) table - if I print (to paper or pdf), I get a scroll bar down the bottom of the table. On screen, it fits to page and all is fine, but when printing I get a scroll bar which is not needed.

How do I designate a table to auto fit to page/screen so there is no scroll bar?

The Content Formatting Macros by Adaptavist gives you a css macro which will let you put the necessary CSS only on the page you need it on ... if you don't want to do it site wide and you don't want to enable the html macro.

Try the following two css-settings for your table in print and pdf:

table-layout:fixed;

max-width: 100%
