Stuck at integrating jira and the confluence ?

I connected Confluence to JIRA by bypassing the JIRA sync in the initial Confluence set up.

I am using JIRA on-demand (cloud ) and confluence on the server.  But when I try to integrate both like go to

  • Choose Browse > Confluence Admin.
  • Click 'User Directories' in the left-hand panel.
  • Add a directory and select type 'Atlassian JIRA'.

I am the admin for the JIRA account.

Can you please let me know what is the Application name and Application Password ??

Where can I find it?

You can't find them, you need to (re)set them for yourself.

Also, what documentation are you following to try to do whatever this "integration" is for?

Please let me know how to reset ? I followed the above document when i struck with the error message ..

Ok, so you're saying you've lost your password for JIRA Cloud? That's covered at
