Space viewership is a little confusing

I am part of a company and I created a space and have shared with all the members but the space owner can't view the space at all. We have not implemented any viewing restrictions or anything at all, still the space and all its content is not visible to the owner.

Any help?

Did you remove view access from the space owner? How can you see he's a space owner? Check the space permissions:

  • There's the sidebar on the left of all pages of the space,
  • At the bottom, click on "Space Tools",
  • Click "Permissions",
  • Check there's a group the user belongs to.

Also check your user is member of "confluence-users". The name could change, but there's a default group configured in "Global Permissions" that all users should be member of.
