Space Permission : Need not want permissions to be combined for same user in different groups

We can see that Space permissions are additive. If a user is granted permission as an individual or as a member of one or more groups, confluence will combine these permissions together. But we need the user to possess separate permission access. For Ex: If User 1 belongs to Group 1 and has export permission but not print permission and if the same User 1 belongs to Group 2 as well and has print permission but not export permission, then currently we are getting both the permissions assigned to User 1, which means when he logs in as User of Group 1 , he has print permission which should not because print permission should be tagged to User 1 only when he logs in as Group 2 user.

Please give your suggestions on this.

Hi Anitha,

you can't login as a group user. You login as user who has one or more groups and automatically get these permissions.

If you want a user to have different permission profiles, you have to add this user twice with a different username and different user groups.
