Single page PDF export format

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Advanced PDF Export Customizations

Why do these setting are not applied when exporting a single page?

When exporting via space content tools, it works.
When exporting from the page's tool menu, it does not.

Look at this page: Customize Exports to PDF

it says:

"PDF customization only applies to space exports (not single page exports via Tools > Export to PDF)"

So you won't be able to use it for single pages.

There is a great plugin though, which provides a powerful PDF customization for single pages (and its child pages if you want to):

Many of the layouts customizations can be added to the stylesheet instead to generate similar output, thus working around the issue. If you need help with any examples we can probably help a bit there.
