We have a user with visibility challenges so we try to provide as much content for him in plain text.

There doesn't seem to be a built in mechanism for this. Does anyone know of a simple (no more than a couple of mouse clicks) way of getting the page content out as plain text?

Thanks.

Philip,

The only way I can see of doing this is to open the page in Edit mode, then copy all the content by dragging, then copying that and pasting it straight into a .txt file.

If you use Select All, you also copy the non-text content as well, such as the page tree. :)

You'd still have to add the page's title, but that's simple enough.

Exporting a page to Word or PDF doesn't copy across to a .txt file very well as it includes all the meta-data as well.

Cheers.
