Show/Hide dependent on previous macro

Robin M. Buck June 8, 2018

Dear all,

I would like to have this behaviour as a User-Macro:

Depending on a certain Parameter of the previous macro, i want to hide/show content in confluence page (in my case a date).

Does anyone have experience in doing so?

Sample:

<p>
<ac:structured-macro ac:macro-id="ff53be7a-b3c2-4ac3-a1f3-ca7735d0dd84" ac:name="status" ac:schema-version="1">
<ac:parameter ac:name="colour">Red</ac:parameter>
<ac:parameter ac:name="title">hide Date</ac:parameter>
</ac:structured-macro>
HIDE --> <time datetime="2018-06-08"/>
</p>

If previous title-parameter of Status-Macro eqals 'hide Date', then hide date, otherwise show it.

I thought of parsing this page, because i can have multiple of such Status&Date pairs. Therefore as well setting a label is not an option for me.

Many thanks

Robin
