Share page to the group in Confluence 3.5.9

I only see that username or email is available for sharing the page.

Is it possible to share page with a group? How?

Thanks, in advance!

It is not currently possible to do this within Confluence. A workaround would be to set up a group mailing list for each group that you want to share with, and then share the page to that group email.

There is an open feature request to support sharing to groups: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-22430

Watch that issue to stay informed on it's progress.

thanks.

Idea with mailing list was my only idea too.

I created a user for each mailing list. Not much fun to assign a user for each group, lowering the number of available users. However it makes sharing with a group much easier.
