I am trying to update my license key for confluence. To get my license key I need to enter my ServerID. When I go the license Details Server ID it displays $action.sid which of course is not valie.
I understand your Server ID is showing as $action.sid.
For the purpose of generating a license, you may get the server ID from the file <confluence_home>/confluence.cfg.xml, under:
property name="confluence.setup.server.id
You may run into trouble upgrading later if the issue isn't resolved, however. Please see Server ID Shows as $action.serverId, $action.sid or n.v.
