Search does not work

Dung Tran April 4, 2024

Sometimes I tried to search articles from the search bar with a key word but the article (I created) includes that key word doesn't appear in the search results. Does anyone know why?

@Dung Dung

It's because there was an incident affecting search and CQL performance on Wednesday and Thursday. It's now been fixed.

As a part of the fix, Atlassian were re-indexing Confluence sites and that rectified the situation. Can confirm.

If the issue persist, get in touch with Atlassian support - ideal via online chat as it's faster - and ask them to re-index your site.

(BTW, I actually think Confluence Cloud search is rather good :) ).

...Because the Confluence search is crap? ;)

Check out this guide for some info on how the search works: Confluence search syntax | Confluence Cloud | Atlassian Support

I work with starring pages and the "Recently worked on" tab a lot. Also labels on pages can help sometimes.
